LifePoint Welcomes Interim Pastor

After much prayer seeking the Lord’s direction, the Guiding Board is pleased to introduce our interim pastor, Brian Hope. Beginning this Sunday, Brian will be bringing weekly messages, along with providing support and direction to our staff and Pastoral Search committee as needed.

Brian has shared with us that his primary focus is to proclaim the gospel and equip others to do the same, in every context of life so that our region can be flooded with the gospel of Jesus. For the past six years he has been the Lead/Planting Elder of his own church that meets on Sunday evenings. His prior experience includes four years at Highlands Community Church as Young Adult Pastor and Assistant Worship Pastor, as well as four years as Worship/Outreach pastor of Esperance Baptist Church. He has his Master of Divinity from Multnomah Biblical Seminary and a BA in Communications from Seattle Pacific University.

Brian has been married to his High School sweetheart, Elisa, for over 18 years.  They have three kids: Michaela, 14, Logan, 12, and Spencer, 10.  His favorite job is being a husband and dad.

As we continue in this transition phase at LifePoint, we covet your prayers in seeking the Lord’s direction for our next Lead Pastor.

In His Service,

Gil Lenger, Tim Oakes, Joy Mattingly, & Lori Boone
